Bike Program | Get Out and Bike!

Save Gas | Get Healthy | Enjoy Baldwin City

Need to get across campus or across town? Borrow an orange bike and you're on your way. Any of the orange Baker bikes can be ridden on campus, to Greek chapter houses, and throughout Baldwin City. Just be sure to return the bikes to campus within 24 hours of use. Bikes can be parked overnight at Greek chapter houses and residence halls.

  • Ride bikes at your own risk. Baker University and Order of Omega are not responsible for injury as a result of use of the bicycles.
  • It is recommended that all bike riders wear a safety helmet. Free helmets are available at the Baldwin City Recreation Commission, 715 High Street.
  • Please yield to golf carts, pedestrians and wheelchairs while riding on campus.
  • Please use the bike racks on campus. They are located in the Rice/Owens courtyard, on Hartley Plaza, Collins Library, and at all residence halls.
  • To report a bike in need of repair or maintenance, leave a message at 785.594.8443. Please indicate the location of the bike when leaving a message.

These bikes belong to all of us! Do not lock the bikes; they are available to all students and campus visitors. If you see a bike on unauthorized property, please contact 785.594.8443.
