Residency Requirement Exemption

Students requesting an exemption must complete the online form below and submit all required documentation to Residence Life by the relevant deadline. You may also upload your documents when you submit the online form.

Please include your full name and Baker ID (or the last four digits of your Social Security number) on all documentation.

Incomplete or late requests will not be processed, and you will be assigned to University housing.

Continuing & Returning Students

For the 2013-14 academic year:
- Priority deadline: March 19, 2013 (decision will be emailed after March 26, 2013)
- Deadline: August 23, 2013
For the spring 2014 semester only:
- Priority deadline: Oct. 29, 2013 (decision will be emailed by Nov. 12, 2013)
- Deadline: Jan. 29, 2014
Students requesting a financial exemption may receive notification after these dates.

New Students | 2013-2014 School Year

If you will be a new student, the Office of Admission must have your enrollment deposit before you can apply for an RRE. Contact your admission counselor if you need to know how to pay your enrollment deposit.
