This mandatory session features a can't-miss performance by your Wildcat Welcome Orientation Leaders highlighting campus standards and tips for navigating your first year as a Baker Wildcat! Following the skits, you will have the opportunity to debrief with smaller residential groups.

3 p.m. | Orientation for Pre-Nursing Students

Attend this orientation session to learn more about the pre-nursing program with Dr. Charmaine Henry, associate professor of biology.

4 p.m. | Planning for Study Abroad from Day 1

I don't think we're in Kansas anymore! Do you have a desire to see more of the world? If you've  been curious about studying abroad, then follow the yellow brick road to this orientation session to learn more about study abroad programs with Martha Harris, director of study abroad.

4 p.m. | Theatre Opening Meeting

Find out how to become involved in theatre (audition and technical work) as well as upcoming conferences, summer stock theatre, theatre season, available roles and positions, and classes. You don't have to be a theatre major or minor; anyone is welcome. This meeting is mandatory for all theatre scholarship winners.

Make sure to stop by this Wildcat Welcome annual event and learn how you can get involved and find out what businesses are in the Baldwin City area. Start at the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce booth for a chance to win a free iPad mini. 

7 p.m. | Baker Spirit-Fest

Dearborn Street in front of the New Living Center and Jolliffe Hall

Build your Baker spirit! Come make a tie-dyed spirit towel and posters to take to athletic events and cheer on the Wildcats this year! Bomb pops will be served.

Over the years, Mat Franco has become a true campus favorite. Mat has developed a unique performance style that blends college humor with shocking magic. He is recognized for creating interactive presentations for his audiences that allow for spontaneity and improvisation. Mat was nominated for "Fastest Rising Star" last year!
