Interterm & Spring

Advising Period | Monday, Oct. 13 – Friday, Oct. 24

The advising period should be used to discuss and plan your schedule with your advisor. Students will not be released to enroll online or in person at the Registrar’s Office without first having met with their academic advisor.

Interterm & Spring Online Preenrollment | Monday, Oct. 27 – Friday, Nov. 7

Online preenrollment for all currently enrolled degree-seeking and nondegree-seeking teacher certification students will take place between Monday, Oct. 27 and Friday, Nov. 7.

  • Students will be allowed to self-enroll through MyBaker. You will not be cleared to enroll online without first having met with your academic advisor.
  • Online enrollment is a real-time system in which your selections are immediately confirmed or a closed course is indicated, so it is to your advantage to enroll near the beginning of your designated enrollment period.
  • Identify alternative courses in case a first-choice course closes before your designated enrollment time.

Real-time enrollment through MyBaker will occur according to the following seniority system based on cumulative hours earned:

Online enrollment will open at 7 a.m. Baker IT and Registrar's Office staff will be available at 7 a.m. on Oct. 27, 29, 31 and Nov. 4 on the lower level of Collins Library to assist with student portal and enrollment issues.

Note: Teacher-certification candidates who already hold a bachelor’s degree may also enroll from the first day of preenrollment.

Confirmation of Your Interterm & Spring Course Schedule

At the conclusion of online preenrollment period, the administration will review course enrollments for areas of concern. Changes to course offerings as a result of this review will be communicated to you and you will have an opportunity to make schedule adjustments.

Late Enrollees for Interterm & Spring (Nov. 10 & Later)

Late enrollees will not be able to enroll online but may submit an enrollment form to the Registrar's Office for processing between Monday, Nov. 10 and the first day of the respective term.. 

Additional Adjustment Period for Spring Schedule

If you have enrolled in courses during the online enrollment period and want to make adjustments to your schedule, you may do so from Monday, Nov. 10 through the end of final exam week, December 12. Please submit an add/drop form to the Registrar's Office for processing.

  • The schedule adjustment option for spring enrollment will expire at the end of the day on Friday, Dec. 12, after which no changes will be permitted until the beginning of the spring semester.
  • Schedule adjustments cannot be made online.

Nondegree-Seeking Students & Readmitted Degree-Seeking Students

These students may enroll beginning Monday, Nov. 10. Nondegree-seeking students should make an appointment with the Registrar's Office. Readmitted students should make an appointment with their academic advisor and then proceed to the Registrar's Office with the enrollment form to complete the enrollment process.

Officially Admitted New Freshmen & Transfer Students

Interterm Enrollment Confirmation

The first day of Interterm is Monday, Jan. 5. Students confirm their enrollment in Interterm by attending class. If you do not attend class by Tuesday, Jan. 6, your enrollment will be deleted.

Students planning a January Internship should consult Career Services for deadlines surrounding completion of paperwork and internship approvals.

Spring Enrollment Confirmation

The last day to confirm your enrollment for the spring semester will be Thursday, Jan. 22. You will be notified in January regarding details of the spring confirmation process. Stay tuned!

The spring 2015 semester begins on Friday, Jan. 23!
