The Department of Humanities offers a scholarship to an incoming freshman or transfer student who plans to study French. Directions for the Writing Sample

Please submit a typed composition written in French that fairly represents your ability to write in French. It must be your own work. The suggested topic is "Why I study French." However, you may write on another topic of your choosing.

Minimum of 200 words
Double-spaced
12-point type
1-inch margins
