Health & Medicine
Programs of study are available if you are interested in preprofessional preparation leading to graduate study in the following areas:
- Medicine
- Veterinary medicine
- Dentistry
- Pharmacy
- Optometry
- Physical therapy
- Physician’s assistant programs
Preprofessional programs in health and medicine are not official majors but rather a cluster of courses that prepare you for graduate study. If you are interested in these fields, you will need to complete advanced coursework in both biology and chemistry. However, each program of study is specifically tailored to meet the needs and interests of the individual student.
Requirements
Although there is no major in health and medicine, you will work closely with the prehealth advisor to determine coursework that will prepare you for graduate study in your field of interest.
