Concert Choir
The 50-voice select Concert Choir has thrilled audiences around the world. One of the most active performing groups on campus, the Concert Choir has toured across the United States and abroad and has been featured with the Kansas City Symphony, the Lawrence Chamber Orchestra and other area orchestras. Appreciative crowds look forward to the choir's traditional on-campus concerts such as Christmas Candlelight Vespers and Voices of Spring. Comprised of music majors as well as capable non-music majors, Concert Choir members enjoy worldwide concert touring opportunities.
University Women's Choir
Comprised of both music majors and non-music majors, this women’s ensemble performs in concert, at University Worship, Christmas Candlelight Vespers, Voices of Spring and other campus events. The group is mostly made up of freshmen and sophomores and sings a variety of music from different eras.
Chamber Singers
This choir is for students who have had previous music experience and are devoted to the large time commitment of practice and performance. As the University’s premiere group, Chamber Singers performs for campus and community events year-round. The choir performs a wide variety of music from Renaissance Madrigals to modern vocal jazz. Future goals include singing for American Choral Directors Association and National Collegiate Choral Organization conventions and competing in some of the world’s greatest choral competitions.
