The Department of History, Culture and Society offers a sociology scholarship to an incoming freshman or transfer student each year. Priority will be given to applications received before March 1.
Essay
In addition to the application, please submit an essay that demonstrates excellent writing skills and analytical thought about the following issues:
- What do you see as the most critical issues facing society today?
- Explain your interest in sociology and how you plan to use your degree to achieve your career goals.
