Bachelor's Degree in Sports Administration
Baldwin City Campus
Sports are a means of maintaining health, happiness and camaraderie. In today’s world, however, that’s not all. Sports are a business. The sports industry relies not only on athletes but on administrators and businesspeople to ensure the success and popularity of athletic franchises, products and services.
At Baker, we combine our focus on health, sport and human performance with the business skills you’ll need to succeed in the sports industry. Upon completion of the Sports Administration program, you’ll have at least a minor in business with the possibility to complete a concentration in coaching.
Graduates of the Sports Administration program go on to work with professional sports teams, college athletics, athletic organizations and a broad range of companies that focus on sports. Graduates also pursue careers as athletes, coaches, trainers and physical therapists.
With small class sizes and a 12-to-1 student-teacher ratio, you’ll get the personal attention to learn and grow. Students are encouraged to pursue internships locally and nationally to give you the professional experience to help you get a job and succeed in the workplace.
With business savvy and an understanding of sports, health and human performance, you’ll have the knowledge, skills and confidence to leave your mark on the sports industry.
