Family Weekend | September 16-18
Family members of Baker students are invited to the Baldwin City campus, a place where lifelong connections begin. Visit for an afternoon or stay all weekend.
Student Academic Success
Student Academic Success coordinates a variety of services for students seeking academic support: student athletes, international students, students with disabilities and those who want to enhance their learning skills.
Career Services
Baker's Career Services staff work one-on-one with students to help them explore possible majors, part-time or summer internship positions, graduate school programs and full-time employment after graduation.
Student Health & Counseling
Baker's Student Health Center provides students with basic health care. A registered nurse is in the office on weekdays and on call weekends and evenings. A physician is on campus several times a week for emergency consultation.
Our counseling center strives to promote the health and well-being of the entire campus community. In addition to one-on-on and group counseling, the clinic staff offers a variety of programs for students throughout the year.
Housing
Baker University's residence halls are a safe, positive and enriching environment for your son or daughter's first experience away from home. Upper-level students are there to provide advice and counsel as students adjust to residence hall life, develop socially and become self-governing. Each member of the staff plans and coordinates educational and social activities throughout the academic year.
Diversity
At Baker University, we believe that students learn best when they're challenged to reach beyond what is familiar. Living and learning among people from different backgrounds, cultures and countries, they learn the value of a diverse community as they work together toward a common goal.
Community Service
Through their many community service projects, Baker students learn that true leadership is that which provides service to others. On campus, in Baldwin City and across the country, Baker students volunteer their time and resources to help create meaningful social change. Students learn to work with people from diverse backgrounds to identify and accomplish common goals.
Commencement
Baker University Commencement ceremonies provide an opportunity for parents and family members to recognize and celebrate all that their graduates have accomplished. View a list of upcoming commencement ceremonies.
Student Affairs
From the day students arrive on campus to the day they graduate, the Dean of Students and the Associate Dean of Students are their advocates and will provide assistance for any challenge or concern that comes their way.
