Greek Life at Baker

When you join a fraternity or sorority, you become a part of unique community – a family, a social organization, a business and a home away from home.

Lifelong friendships, high academic standards, campus and community service, social interaction and leadership opportunities are all a part of Greek life at Baker.

Greek Recruitment 2009

Baker’s eight residential fraternities and sororities host formal recruitment in August. Baker’s two National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations, Kappa Alpha Psi and Zeta Phi Beta, accept membership applications later in the fall semester. The process lasts several weeks, beginning with informal meetings in September.

Greek Chapters at Baker

Baker offers five fraternities and five sororities. Eight of the Greek organizations on campus are residential. Kappa Alpha Psi and Zeta Phi Beta, recently chartered historically black chapters, currently exist as social organizations without residential accommodations.
