Meet the Gessner Hall Staff

William “Will” Schowalter, senior resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a junior from Spring Hill, Kan. He is majoring in secondary education with a focus in English and a minor in French. He is involved in Gay-Straight Alliance, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Brass Quintet, Loud Noises and BUSEA. He chose Baker because of its excellent Education and Music departments and because it is close to home. He likes playing his trumpet, playing video games, reading, writing, playing Frisbee and making artwork. He also has a Jedi Robe that he wears quite frequently! He likes being an SRA because he gets to help his residents with problems and participate in fun programs.

Parker “P-Weezy or Polka” Bryant, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a junior from Parkville, Mo., working on a sports administration degree with a minor in business. He is involved in cross country and track and field. He chose Baker because of the opportunity to be a student-athlete at the collegiate level and also for the small campus and small-town feel. He enjoys playing and watching sports, hanging out with friends and eating! He enjoys meeting the residents in Gessner and making connections that will last a lifetime.

Trent Callender, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a sophomore exercise science major from Wamego, Kan. He is involved in football and Baker Serves. He chose Baker because of the football program and the academic prestige. He likes working out, skiing, ice climbing and reading. He likes being an RA because he enjoys meeting new people and helping them out.

Scott “Scottie” Schrag, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a junior business management major from Pretty Prairie, Kan. He is involved in football and enjoys farming, playing sports and playing Playstation 3. He chose Baker because the school of business is very good. He likes being an RA because the interaction with the people and because it is fun to know everyone.

Colter “Big Dawg” Scott, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a junior sports administration major from Lawrence, Kan., who is minoring in business. He is involved in football and track and field and is a University Admission Assistant. He chose Baker because of the small campus, family feel and great teachers and because of the number of great friends he has here. He likes being an RA because he can meet the new students and get to know more of the older Baker students.
