Emerging Leaders Summit

The Emerging Leaders Summit is an annual overnight leadership experience for 30 to 40 first-year and transfer students. ELS graduates have gone on to hold significant campus leadership positions including orientation team members, resident assistants, Student Activities Council Executive Board members, student organization presidents, Baker Ambassadors and student body presidents.

Explore & Develop Your Leadership Skills

ELS challenges student leaders to explore and develop their leadership skills:

• Learn your desired leadership style
• Enable other students to act
• Establish values and respect
• Develop teamwork

Five upper-class student facilitators guide participants through this experience.
