National Society of Collegiate Scholars

First-Year & Second-Year Students

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is a national honor society for first- and second-year students. Membership in the chapter is by invitation only and is open to students in all academic disciplines who meet the following criteria:

  • Successful completion of at least 12 credit hours but no more than 60
  • First- or second-year-student status at the time of affirmation
  • Minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale and rank in the top 20% of your class
  • Submission of a membership profile and confirmation of society membership
  • Payment of the society induction and lifetime membership fee

The Baker University National Society of Collegiate Scholars chapter was chartered in the spring of 2011.
