Ivan L. Boyd Arboretum and Ivan L. Boyd Woods for research and observation.

Chemistry majors "shadow" physicians and professional chemists and complete internships in chemical laboratories and research programs
at major universities.

The new Ivan L. Boyd Center for Collaborative Science Education features state-of-the-art technology and extensive lab space.

Baker science majors get more hands-on experience in one year than many students at larger universities get in their entire college careers.

Of those who apply, Baker students are accepted into medical school at a 78% clip. The national average is 44%.

Jump into Original Research

Because of our small class sizes, our science students work closely with professors to produce original research and present it at regional, national and even international conferences. This is a rare opportunity for undergraduates.
