Presented by Broadway at Baker and Music Theatre for Young People
Cary Danielson Pandzik will direct the musical theater production.
Inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley, the production features a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets in a square little town. The musical fantasy includes such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don't Be Cruel.”
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and children under 12. Tickets are available at the door or by calling (785) 594-8478.

Built in 1955 and renovated in 1983, Rice Auditorium is the venue used by most of Baker’s visiting lecturers and performing artists. Rice is also the stage for Baker’s largest plays, performed and directed by the Theatre Department. The Music Department also utilizes Rice Auditorium to perform a variety of concerts. The auditorium, which seats approximately 880 people, is a great location that hosts a variety of intellectual and enjoyable events for students and the communities near Baldwin City. Rice Auditorium is handicap accessible.
