Our faculty are passionate about student success, and our alumni remain loyal to our students and assist them in their postgraduate endeavors. The program focuses on the fundamentals of business and emphasizes problem solving and ethical and social responsibilities before moving on to global industry, trade and economics. Internships & Hands-On LearningInternships and other opportunities will be integral to your Baker experience. Our students have interned at national accounting firms, major corporations, professional sports teams and federal agencies. And many students study abroad for a semester or during an Interterm course over the winter. Students pursue research opportunities and have presented their work at the Missouri Valley Economics Association. A group of students recently placed first in an entrepreneurship case analysis and presentation at the Midwest Decision Sciences Institute. Our faculty will teach you the fundamentals of business so that you can apply those principles to real-life situations, culminating in Business Policy, the capstone course.
