In addition to the professional education requirements, students pursuing licensure in the field of journalism (6-12) must complete the following courses with a grade of C or better:

  • MM 250 Writing for Mass Media I, 3 hours

  • MM 450 Teaching Scholastic Journalism (Methods), 3 hours
  • MM 476 Senior Seminar in Communication, 3 hours
