Art on Wheels Mobilizes in Lawrence
On Friday, July 11, 1997, Lawrence hosted it's first (hopefully ANNUAL) Art Car parade. Cars of various shapes, ages, and engine sizes were given new identites by their owners ranging from clever to comical to downright nuts. Art Cars, Classics (30 years or older), Lowriders, Cycles, Skaters, and Contraptions were all welcome to participate in the event.
