2012: Appeared in 46 games as a sophomore registering 111 at-bats, including 26 hits, 22 runs, 10 RBIs, and one homerun...He also had 41 put-outs for the season with a season high of three put-outs against Rogers State, Benedictine, and Tabor.

2011: Appeared in 17 games as a freshman registering 14 at-bats and three put-outs.

PERSONAL: Brett Daniel Lechien was born in Emporia, Kan., and is the son of Terry and Sylvia Lechien…Has 2 siblings: Aaron and Jennifer…Played baseball at Emporia High School where he was named Centennial League Honorable Mention…Enjoys spending time outdoors in his free time…Majoring in Sports Administration.

Nomination Procedures

Anyone is eligible to write an open letter of nomination regarding an individual they believe to be worthy of induction to the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame. The nominations must be received by December 31 to be considered for induction during the next calendar year. Once an individual is nominated, he or she remain in an active file for review by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The selection committee sends recommendations in the spring to the President of the University for final approval for fall induction.
