2012: Played in 47 games…Batted .270 on the season with 37 hits, seven doubles, two triples, one home run and 23 RBIs…Was second on the team with 18 stolen bases, of which he was 18-of-20…Had a perfect fielding percentage, with 73 putouts and two outfield assists…Outstanding play in the outfield earned him a HAAC Gold Glove Award for the season.

Personal: Joshua Wayne Zach was born in Eagen, Minn., and is the son of Mark and Marianne Zach…Has one sibling…Attended Olathe East High School in Olathe, Kan., where he was named Second Team All-Sunflower League at outfielder…Enjoys golfing and playing FIFA…Majoring in Sports Administration.

Nomination Procedures

Anyone is eligible to write an open letter of nomination regarding an individual they believe to be worthy of induction to the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame. The nominations must be received by December 31 to be considered for induction during the next calendar year. Once an individual is nominated, he or she remain in an active file for review by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The selection committee sends recommendations in the spring to the President of the University for final approval for fall induction.
