IMalmIvan L. Malm

Four-year basketball letterman while playing for former head basketball coach, Russ Davee. Served as captain of the team his senior year, 1955-1956. Set an all-time Baker career scoring record in 1956 with 1,196 points. Also set the Baker and conference single-game scoring record against Southwestern College in December, 1955 with 44 points.

NAIA District 10 nominee for All-American, 1955-56

Lettered in tennis three years

President of his sophomore class and vice president of the Interfraternity Council as a senior

Instrumental in the development and leadership of the Baker University Wildcat Booster Club

Member of the Baker University Board of Trustees

Nomination Procedures

Anyone is eligible to write an open letter of nomination regarding an individual they believe to be worthy of induction to the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame. The nominations must be received by December 31 to be considered for induction during the next calendar year. Once an individual is nominated, he or she remain in an active file for review by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The selection committee sends recommendations in the spring to the President of the University for final approval for fall induction.
