2013-14: Wallisch became one of the most improved players in the NAIA her sophomore season, as she was named the 2013-14 HAAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year, after finishing the season No. 2 in the country in blocked shots with 107...She also played in all 34 games for Baker with 24 starts and averaged 7.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, leading the team with 265 total rebounds...Shot 50-percent from the floor and scored a season-high 22 points in the Wildcats crucial road win at MNU on 1/31...Also named to the 2013-14 HAAC Women's Basketball Honorable Mention All-Conference team.

2012-13: Appeared in 29 games as a freshman, totaling 53 points, 96 rebounds, and 5 assists. Had a season high 10 points against William Jewell, and 12 rebounds against Culver-Stockton and Peru State.

PERSONAL: Macy Lynn Wallisch was born in Topeka, Kan., and is the daughter of John and Heather Wallisch…Has 1 sibling: Megan…Played basketball and track at Holton High School where the Wildcats were 2011 State Champions and 2012 State Runner-up…Named All-League and All-State Honorable Mention…Chose Baker University over Highland and Peru State…Enjoys basketball, spending time with friends, and fishing…Majoring in Biology.

 

Nomination Procedures

Anyone is eligible to write an open letter of nomination regarding an individual they believe to be worthy of induction to the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame. The nominations must be received by December 31 to be considered for induction during the next calendar year. Once an individual is nominated, he or she remain in an active file for review by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The selection committee sends recommendations in the spring to the President of the University for final approval for fall induction.
