Thomas Lowndes

Position: Student Assistant Coach

After a stellar four year playing career for the Wildcats, Thomas Lowndes joins head coach Nate Houser and his coaching staff as the 2012 Student Assistant Coach.

Lowndes was a pivotal part in Baker's Final Four run a year ago, leading the team in points with seven goals and 14 assists. The Undy, Wales native also scored the game-winning overtime goal against Hastings in the national tournament in 2011 and ended the Broncos 39-game winning streak.

He also led Baker in points in 2010 with five goals and five assists. Before his time at Baker, Lowndes played for Bristol Rovers F.C. Academy in England. He will graduate this December with a degree in Physical Education and a teaching certification.

Nomination Procedures

Anyone is eligible to write an open letter of nomination regarding an individual they believe to be worthy of induction to the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame. The nominations must be received by December 31 to be considered for induction during the next calendar year. Once an individual is nominated, he or she remain in an active file for review by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The selection committee sends recommendations in the spring to the President of the University for final approval for fall induction.
