2013-14: Became Baker University first-ever NAIA Wrestling National Champion, as he defeated Indiana Tech's senior wrestler Justin Brooks, 3-0, to capture the 133-pound national title in Topeka, Kan., at the 2014 NAIA Wrestling National Championships inside the Kansas Expocentre...Also helped the Baker wrestling program earn its 10th All-America award...Earned HAAC Wrestler of the Week twice as a freshman...Became just the fourth athlete in school history to win a NAIA National Championship.

PERSONAL: Bryce Andrew Shoemaker was born in Hays, Kan., and is the son of Melinda and Dennis Shoemaker...Has one sibling: Madison (24)...Attended Baldwin City High School where he was a state champion twice...Enjoys hunting an fishing...Majoring in Biology.


Nomination Procedures

Anyone is eligible to write an open letter of nomination regarding an individual they believe to be worthy of induction to the Baker University Athletic Hall of Fame. The nominations must be received by December 31 to be considered for induction during the next calendar year. Once an individual is nominated, he or she remain in an active file for review by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The selection committee sends recommendations in the spring to the President of the University for final approval for fall induction.
