Ahmadian began his playing career at Baker in 2003 and helped lead the Wildcats to a conference final appearance against Graceland that season as an individual and a doubles player.
His sophomore season, Ahmadian only lost two singles matches and only four doubles matches with playing partner, Jose Mota. He was named the 2005 NAIA National "Player to Watch".
In 2006-07, Ahmadian and Mota achieved a national ranking of No. 22 and advanced to the finals of the Region V ITA Championships. The Dallas, Texas native, was named the 2008 Baker University Male Athlete of the Year by his classmates and served as the assistant coach for both the men's and women's teams in 2008-09.
