Jennifer Jarnot was born in Buffalo New York and spent most of her early life and schooling in New York where she received her undergraduate degree in drawing from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Since receiving her MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007, she has resided in Lawrence, Kan., and began teaching at Baker in 2008. As a practicing artist, Jennifer works between drawing, painting and photography. Often times combining many of these processes in a single project.
