Position: Head softball coach and assistant volleyball coach

Jamie Stanclift just wrapped up her first season as the head softball coach and assistant volleyball coach for the Wildcats and looks to help lead the Wildcats after an impressive collegiate playing career at Wichita State.

She lead Baker to a 22-24 record, finishing fourth in the HAAC and the 'Cats advanced to the quarterfinals of the HAAC Championship Series. Baker also had a plethora of HAAC postseason awards under Stanclift in 2014 including the HAAC Softball Freshman of the Year in pitcher Katt Cooper.

Renata Dill, Mallorie Nelson and Cooper were all named to the HAAC First Team All-Conference. Dill and Nelson also earned a Gold Glove award and Alyse Menghini was named to the HAAC Second Team All-Conference.

On the Volleyball court, under Allen, Stanclift and assistant coach Crysti Bell, Baker went 23-9 overall and tied for second in the regular season standings and advanced all the way to the HAAC Tournament Championship match.

Baker posted two players on the HAAC First Team All-Conference in Dill and freshman Hannah Bettge and Bettge was named the HAAC Freshman of the Year.

Baker posted another 20-plus win season in 2013 with a 23-14 record and 12-6 and finished third in the HAAC standings. Erin Greenwood had another stellar season earning HAAC First-Team All-Conference honors and was named the NAIA National Pitcher of the Week on April 1 and earned two HAAC Pitcher of the Week honors. Summer Kelley was also named to the HAAC First-Team.

Stanclift had a stellar career for the Shockers, starting every game her junior and senior seasons at first base and recorded a career, .982 fielding percentage which ranks her tenth in WSU history.

She was selected a Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week three different times and for her work off the field, was named to the MVC Honor Roll.

The Lawrence, Kan., native graduated from Wichita State Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in Sport Management.

Also served as the assistant coach for the Omaha, Neb., based Frozen Ropes Fury under-18 softball team in 2010-11 and helped lead them to a 2010 USSSA National title with a record of 41-6.

She graduated from Free State high school and was a three-year letterwinner in basketball, volleyball and softball.
