Position: Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
Sara Matthews is serving her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Wildcats. In her three seasons coaching at Baker, the ladies claimed a regular season HAAC title, two HAAC tournament titles, have reached the NAIA National Tournament semifinals (2010), quarterfinals (2011) and Sweet 16 (2012) respectively, and have been ranked consistently in the NAIA Top 25. Prior to coaching at Baker, Matthews spent one year as a graduate assistant at Washburn University where she completed a Master's in Business Administration.
Sara received her B.S. in Business from Baker University in 2009 concentrating in marketing and management. She was also part of the women's soccer team and was elected captain her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. In 2006 she was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference all-conference team and in 2007 was named the Baker University Student Senate Female Athlete of the Year.
Matthews currently holds a USSF license.
