Position: Head Bowling Coach
In her fourth season leading the Wildcat Bowling program, Cheryl Keslar led Baker to an eighth-place finish at the XBowling Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Qualifier in Addison, Ill., with the eighth-place finish the 'Cats were just four spots away from advancing to the national tournament. At Sectionals, Baker averaged 186 pins per game, the highest average in school history.
Keslar led the Baker to its most successful season in program history with a No. 16 national ranking in the final International Bowling Media Association's (IBMA) Top 20 Poll of the 2012-13 season.
The fourth year coach also helped lead Caitlin Campbell to the 2013 NAIA Second-Team All-America honor and the Wildcats were ranked as high as No. 10 in the IBMA Poll.
She joined the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) tour in 1980. She went on to win 25 regional titles in the Great Plains Bowling Association and 15 Kansas State Titles. In 1994 Keslar was inducted into the Kansas Bowling Hall of Fame
Keslar brings 30 years of tournament level experience to Baker in competitions at the local, regional and national levels.
Keslar and her family currently reside in Tonganoxie, Kan.
