Four schools comprise Baker University: College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Nursing, School of Professional and Graduate Studies.
Baker is a private, liberal arts university that educates students through small classes, innovative instructors and rigorous coursework.
Position: Sports Information Inter
Tyler Scott enters his first year at Baker University assisting the sports information department. Scott will work with all 20 varsity sports assisting with website maintenance, video footage, and statistics. Prior to joining the Wildcats, he was an intern in the sports information department at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national office in Kansas City, Mo., and helped maintain the national website, and also worked in the Eligibility Center.
Scott graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. At Kansas State, he wrote for the student newspaper the Collegian from 2009-2011, and covered men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, football, men’s and women’s golf, and rugby.
Scott is a native of Lenexa, Kan., and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 2007. He is also an avid sports fan, and enjoys watching all Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals events.
