Baker University Archives

About the Archives

Baker University Archives serves as the repository for the institutional records (historical, legal, fiscal and administrative) of the University and records and writings about the people, places and events related to the University and the Baldwin City community.

The Archives of the Kansas East Conference and the Kansas West Conference of the United Methodist Church are also housed here. They are governed jointly by the Commission on Archives and History of the Kansas East Conference and the University and operated by the University. Institutional records are deposited here for the Conference and its predecessors. This collection is supplemented by a hymnal collection.

Additionally, the Archives maintains a small, but well-chosen collection of writings and documents relating to Territorial Kansas through 1920.

The Archives are located on the first floor of Baker University's Collins Library, located at 518 Eighth Street, in Baldwin City, Kansas. View a map of the area.
