Creating Search Alerts
Tired of conducting the same search to stay up-to-date on your area(s) of research? Find you are missing out on recent publications related to your next journal article or book?
In order to save time, you should setup a search alert. Once you have developed your ideal search (which the librarians can help you with), you can select to have new search results emailed to you at regular intervals or added to your RSS feed reader. On the right side of the page, you will find an image that links to a set of tutorials demonstrating how to setup an alert in our three most popular platforms: EBSCO, ProQuest, and JSTOR. After clicking on the video image, you can click the fast forward icon ( >| ) to view the video for the platform of your choice. If the video is blurry (due to your internet speed), you can click on the gear icon and select 720 HD.
