Convocation to focus on sustainability

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s sustainability efforts will be discussed at the university’s opening convocation at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Rice Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

Steve Troester, of PGAV Architects, is scheduled to speak about the construction of sustainable structures, including plans to reform Mulvane Hall.

Other speakers will include Roger Boyd, director of natural at areas at Baker; Randy Miller, assistant professor of biology; and Rep. Tony Brown, D-Baldwin City.
