NEWS RELEASE Funeral services for professor set for Dec. 19Baldwin City, Kan. — Funeral services for Machele Timberlake, assistant professor of education and coordinator of student teachers at Baker University’s School of Education, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at Bannister Road Baptist Church, 7503 East Bannister Road, in Kansas City, Mo. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Timberlake died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 10. The Timberlake family and School of Education have established a scholarship in her name for a minority student in teacher education. If you are interested in contributing to the scholarship fund, make checks out to Baker University Machele Timberlake Scholarship Fund to the Office of University Advancement. ### |
