NEWS RELEASE Baker University to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.Baldwin City, Kan. — The Rev. Delmar White, pastor of the Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Lawrence, Kan., will be the featured speaker at Baker University’s Martin Luther King Jr. celebration on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Osborne Chapel on the Baldwin City campus. White has served as pastor at Ninth Street Baptist since 2008. He previously was the pastor at Paseo Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo., and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Topeka. He is pursuing a Master of Arts degree at Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Kan. The Baker University student gospel choir and speech choir will also perform at the celebration. ### |
