NEWS RELEASE Sarna honored by American College Health AssociationBaldwin City, Kan. — Ruth Sarna, director of student health services at Baker University, has been selected as the 2010 recipient of the Ollie B. Moten Award, which recognizes American College Health Association members who have made a significant impact at their university. Sarna, who has served Baker since 1989, was honored because of her longstanding dedication to Baker University and its students. She will be recognized during the awards and fellows dinner at the ACHA’s annual meeting on June 3 in Philadelphia. Since its inception in 1920, the American College Health Association has been the principal advocate and leadership organization for college and university health. The association provides advocacy, education, communications, products and services, as well as promotes research and culturally competent practices to enhance its members’ ability to advance the health of all students and the campus community.
