Active Minds chapter to participate in Stress Øut Week

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s Active Minds chapter will participate in the fifth annual National Stress Øut Week April 12-16.stressoutweek

The week is designed to provide a prefinals stress reliever. It also educates and provides students with information about stress management, anxiety and related disorders.

Active Minds works to utilize the student voice to change the conversation about mental health on college campuses. Baker’s chapter of Active Minds is the only such college organization in Kansas.

Starting on Friday, April 9 and continuing on Monday, April 12, students are urged to send a postcard during the lunch hour to anyone needing some encouragement.

Monday, April 12, 3:30 p.m.
Outside Harter Union

Recess: Your Favorite Class!
Release your inner child or your pent-up energy and come out for "Recess: Your Favorite Class"! Students will be playing everything from four square to Red Rover.

Wednesday, April 14, 8:30 p.m.
Fleming Plaza, outside Collins Library

Does studying for exams, writing papers, working on projects, and getting ready for finals make you want to scream!? Then join colleges across the Nation for ScreamFest.

Friday, April 16, 8:30 p.m.
BYOP Pillow Fight

Bring Your Own Pillow on the field south of Mabee Hall.
