NEWS RELEASE Gospel Extravaganza set for April 24Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s Gospel Choir will present its annual Gospel Extravaganza at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Osborne Chapel on the Baldwin City campus. Hosted by Mungano and the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the event will feature performances by Baker’s Gospel Choir, Amplified Through Praise, Be Manifest, Duncan Burnett, Ordered Steps of Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church, Virtuous Praise and the Ottawa University Gospel Choir. Mungano is a student-run diversity organization on the Baldwin City campus. The word Mungano is derived from a longer Swahili phrase that means brothers and sisters united.
