NEWS RELEASE Mungano elects officersBaldwin City, Kan. — Baker University has announced its Mungano officers for 2010-2011. They are: John Babb, president, Topeka, Kan.; Katie Mercer, vice president, Olathe, Kan.; Lauren Breithaupt, secretary, Overland Park, Kan.; Kelley Jenkins, historian, Leavenworth, Kan.; Shavon Brown, treasurer, Kansas City, Mo.; Daniel Small, Kansas City, Mo., public relations; and Cherese Littlejohn, public relations, Kansas City, Mo. Mungano is a student-run diversity organization on the Baldwin City campus. The word Mungano is derived from a longer Swahili phrase that means brothers and sisters united. ###
