Nursing faculty, alumnus honored

Topeka, Kan. — Four members of Baker’s Eta Kappa chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International were recently honored.

Three of the awards went to faculty and a Baker University School of Nursing alumnus. Ruth Ohm received the Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award for her role in promoting research and evidence-based practice at Stormont-Vail HealthCare.

Faculty Emeritus Sonja Feist, an active community volunteer, was recognized for Excellence in Nursing Service.

Steve Peterson, BSN ’02, a charge nurse at Stormont-Vail, was recognized as an outstanding new member for his contributions to chapter activities over the last year.
