School of Education alumni to be inducted into Wall of Honor

Baldwin City, Kan. — Two Baker University School of Education alumni — Abby Burnett, BS ’08, and Bradley Nicks, MASL ’04 — will be inducted into Baker University’s Wall of Honor on May 22 during the alumni luncheon at Harter Union.

The Wall of Honor recognizes Baker graduates who have received state and national recognition.wallofhonor

Burnett, a middle school teacher in Paola, Kan., received the Kansas Horizon Award as the 2010 outstanding first-year teacher. Nicks, a math teacher at Shawnee Heights High School in Tecumseh, Kan., recently received the Milken Family Foundation National Educator honor.

The Wall of Honor recognition plaques are in Case Hall on the Baldwin City campus.
