Professor delivers keynote address, receives Gold Customer Experience Award
Overland Park, Kan. — Lance Williams, an adjunct professor at Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies, was the keynote speaker at the Gartner Customer Experience Summit June 28-30 in Los Angeles and accepted the Gold Customer Experience Award at the conference on behalf of Sprint Nextel.
Gartner is the leading global technology research firm. The award is considered the top honor in the technology industry.
Williams’ career has spanned nearly two decades in the telecommunications industry, working in both wireline and wireless communications. He had held various information technology, network engineering and project management positions before assuming in 2007 his role as the executive leading technology enablement for Sprint's customer management organization.
At Baker, Williams teaches technology management and international business in the Master of Business Administration program.
