NEWS RELEASE Baker University to present ‘Legend of Sleepy Hollow’Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s music and theatre department will present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” based on the story by Washington Irving and adapted for the stage by Frederick Gaines, Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at Rice Auditorium on the Baldwin City campus. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Tom Heiman, associate chair department of music and theatre, will direct the performance. The cast list of Baker students for “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”: Ichabod Crane, Patrick King; Widow Winetraub, Lindley Fritze; Hilda Winetraub, Jessica Benner; Cornwall, Kari Hilmes; Brom Bones, Jeff Milton; Katrina Van Tassel, Heather Wickman; Pastor, Nathan Eacker; Van Ripper, Ali Watson; Townspeople, Courtney West, Haven Ashley, Aaron Schopper, Abigail Jones.
