Baker University to present ‘Legend of Sleepy Hollow’

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s music and theatre department will present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” based on the story by Washington Irving and adapted for the stage by Frederick Gaines, Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at Rice Auditorium on the Baldwin City campus.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Tom Heiman, associate chair department of music and theatre, will direct the performance.Baker-0964

Production staff members are Andrew Simons, special effects; Megan Nelson, choreography; Kyle Detrick, original music; Bryce Bowers, sound design; and Rachael Moon, 2010 Baker graduate, lighting design.
