Career Development Center staff members honored
Baldwin City, Kan. — The Kansas Association of College and Employers recently honored Susan Wade and Kelly Burns, of Baker University’s Career Development Center, at the annual KACE conference in Wichita.
Wade, the director of the Career Development Center, received the 2010 KACE Career Services Director of the Year Award. Burns, the coordinator of the Career Development Center, was presented the 2010 KACE Career Services Member of the Year Award.
Wade also was elected 2011 president elect and will chair the annual conference committee next year.
KACE, founded 63 years ago, has approximately 100 members from Kansas and Missouri universities, colleges and businesses.
The mission of the association is to serve as a forum for interaction and support among college and university career services officials and employers in all sectors.
