Career expo and networking event set for April 29
Overland Park, Kan. — Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies will be host to a free career expo and networking event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 29 at its Overland Park campus, 7301 College Blvd.
Attendees will have an opportunity to meet, network and interview with area business leaders, current students and Baker alumni to discuss current and future employment trends and qualifications for successful employment.
The event will include workshops for interviewing, resume writing and social networking. Kansas City companies will review resumes and conduct on-site interviews. The schedule for the event is as follows:
9 a.m.- 11 a.m. | Workshops
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Career Expo and Interviews
1 p.m.- 3 p.m. | Speed Networking
