Nursing students inducted into national honor society

Topeka, Kan. — The Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International, the national honor society for nursing, inducted 12 members of the Baker University School of Nursing 2011 graduating class during a ceremony on May 3.Baker-0979

Undergraduate students must have a 3.0 grade-point average and rank in the top 35 percent of their class to qualify for membership. 

Inductees were Judith Anderson, Danielle Baxter, Katherine Blevins, Kayla Brown, Pamela Engels, Sharrod Greene, Krista Lierz, Briana Mangan, Jennifer Nusbaum, Jessa Perry, Jorrie Varney and Jana Wiley.  Jennifer Nusbaum will receive the chapter scholarship at the pinning ceremony on May 20 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Topeka.
