You need JavaScript enabled to view it Baker students recognized as Teachers of PromiseBaldwin City, Kan. — Two Baker University School of Education students were honored during the spring semester as Teachers of Promise. Kristen Burchett, Overland Park, and Matt Ellis, Topeka, were recognized during the Kansas Exemplary Educators Network State Education Conference at the Capital Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Topeka. Burchett received a Bachelor of Science degree in May, majoring in elementary education. Ellis received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baker in May, majoring in mathematics and secondary education. Schools of Education in Kansas are allowed to nominate two talented students for the Teachers of Promise honor per semester. ### Baker University is committed to assuring student learning, and developing confident, competent and responsible contributors to society. |
