Wildcat Welcome schedule announced

Baldwin City, Kan. — The Wildcat Welcome week, a kick-off to the 2011-12 academic year for Baker University students on the Baldwin City campus, is set for Aug. 10-13 and Aug. 21-24 on the Baldwin City campus.Baker-0964

Fall classes begin on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

Here’s the schedule for Wildcat Welcome:

Wednesday, Aug. 10

1 p.m.-2 p.m.: Residence halls open for new and returning student athletic assistants

Friday, Aug. 12

Noon-2 p.m.: Residence halls open for new and returning football student-athletes

9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Baker University Bookstore open

2 p.m.: Residence hall area meetings for student athletic assistants and football student-athletes

2 p.m.: Parent and family orientation for football players, McKibbin Recital Hall

Saturday, Aug. 13

7:30-11 a.m.: Residence halls open for new and returning soccer, volleyball, cross country and spirit squad team members

7:30 a.m.-noon: Information technology assistance, Harter Union lobby

8 a.m.-1 p.m.: ID center open, Harter Union 22

9 a.m.-1 p.m.: Baker University Bookstore open

1:30 p.m.: Orientation for student-athletic assistants, football, soccer, volleyball, cross country and spirit squad

1:30 p.m.: Parent and family orientation for soccer, volleyball, cross country and spirit squad members
