NEWS RELEASE Baker’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies delivers school suppliesOverland Park, Kan. — Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies in the Kansas City metro area and Topeka recently delivered more than $2,000 worth of supplies to school districts in Kansas City and Topeka. The supplies were donated by Baker students who in August had their application fees waived for the university’s business and management degree programs. Staff and faculty also contributed supplies. Items collected and donated included backpacks, notebooks and paper, folders, coloring and writing materials, washable markers, watercolor paints, composition notebooks and other items specifically requested by the school districts. Supplies were distributed at Gardner-Edgerton, Lee’s Summit, Park Hill, Shawnee Mission, Turner and Park Hill in the Kansas City area and at Holy Family School in Topeka. ### Baker University is committed to assuring student learning, and developing confident, competent and responsible contributors to society. |
